LJYO Financing

      The ambitious LJYO program is financed in many ways.

      Annual fees for orchestra members are deliberately kept at a modest level to ensure access for all talented musicians. Countless volunteer hours help keep costs down. Ticket sales and a variety of short term fund raising activities also contribute to covering costs.

      Remaining expenses are covered by generous and enthusiastic financial support of individuals, service clubs, municipalities, and foundations.

      LJYO Donors have the satisfaction of supporting a vibrant organization which is dedicated to providing young musicians. With exceptional leadership that insists on high standards and encourages pride in accomplishment, LJYO members develop self-confidence and a sense of cooperative responsibility to the community.

      Your donations will help fund the orchestra's many activities which include concert performances, education and outreach, instrument acquisition, orchestra exchanges, festivals and competitions.

FINANCE

LJYO is a non-profit organization. Funding comes from membership fees, concert tickets and fundraising opportunities. LJYO is extremely grateful to all those help make this wonderful youth orchestra possible. To assist your decision, we have identified several opportunities for your corporate or personal contributions. You can contribute in any of the following ways:

INDIVIDUAL DONORS
Standing Ovation $500 and above
Encore $250-499
Round of Applause $100-249
Keeping the Rhythm under $99

Charitable donation tax receipts will be provided for all donations over $10.

CONCERT SPONSORS
Concert Seasons $1500 - 2000
Level 1 $1000 and above
Level 2 $750 - 999
Level 3 $500 - 749
Level 4 $250 – 499

Recognition Elements
Sponsors and donors receive varying degrees of recognition based on their level of contribution. These may include Concert Program, Posters, Complimentary tickets, Reserved seats, Personal Recognition, Newspaper Advertisements, Tax receipt if applicable (only Individual donations are charitable).
